Visited Hi-Lance School

I was invited to observe Class 6 taking their Quantitative Aptitude mock exam (test code 01) at 9:15am for the National Primary School Examination which allows them entry into secondary school.

This is one of three scheduled mock exams to prepare the students for the National Exam on the first Saturday in May 2010.

The number of students from Hi-Lance School taking the exam is 13.

The exam is made up of five parts:-

1. Verbal Aptitude (duration 40 mins)
2. Maths (duration 1hr)
3. English 1 (duration 35 mins)
4. English 2 – which is made up of letter writing and composition (duration 30mins each)
5. General paper (duration 1hr) – which includes:-

• Social Study
• Physical Health Education
• Science
• Agriculture
• Home Economics
